Cure your allergies at the source

Prescription Mirra allergy drops are a way to cure your allergies at the source.

Over the counter and traditional prescription allergy treatments are bandaid solutions that don’t address the underlying root causes of your allergy symptoms, which means that you’ll have to keep managing your symptoms over the course of your life.

Mirra allergy drops harness the power of sublingual immunotherapy (or SLIT), which works by retraining your immune system so that you can find permanent relief from your allergies. Every bottle is personalized to your specific allergies and is made by our licensed physicians using prescription-grade, FDA-approved ingredients.

FAQs

What is sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT)?

Sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) is the medical term for allergy drops, which are a safe and effective alternative to allergy shots.

Allergy drops work similar to allergy shots in that they train your body and immune system to tolerate the triggers that cause your allergic reactions.

How do you figure out what I’m allergic to?

If you’ve taken an allergy test within the last 5 years, you can share that data with our allergist. If you haven’t gotten a recent allergy test, we will refer you to our allergy testing partner that will send you an at-home allergy testing kit.

How long do I take the allergy drops for?

Treatment length varies from person to person, as it depends on what you are specifically allergic to and how severe those allergies are. Overall, after 3 to 6 months of taking the drops daily, most patients experience a significant improvement in their allergy symptoms. For lasting immunity and permanent relief, we recommend the full treatment period of 3 to 5 years to help you stay symptom-free for good.

Can I take the drops along with other allergy medication?

Mirra Allergy drops are safe to use in addition to your current allergy medications (like Claritin, Allegra, nasal drops etc.) until you no longer need them.

Are allergy drops safe?

Yes. Sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT), or allergy drops, has been used in clinical practice and tested in research studies for the last 20 years, and is recognized by recognized by the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and The World Health Organization (WHO) as a safe and effective alternative to allergy shots, with the length of treatment between the shots and drops having been proven to be effectively the same as well.

Additionally, allergy drops are safe to use in addition to your current allergy medications (like Claritin, Allegra, nasal drops etc.) until you no longer need them.
